Jazz Lewis RPC-c, RTC.

Registered Counsellor Squamish

When I moved to Canada from Australia over ten years ago, like every other Australian, I found myself in Whistler, taking in all that was to offer. After a few years however I started to feel a deep calling to fulfil my passion of working within the mental health and wellness field.

Fast forward years later, I found myself living in Squamish working in a field that I feel so deeply passionate about – Sexual Assault Services and Support with PearlSpace. I have seen firsthand the importance of clinical counsellors in providing professional mental health support within safe and confidential environments.

With years of experience in crisis-centered work, as well as counselling at Moving Forward Family Services and PearlSpace, I am now honoured to provide person-centered counselling services through Coast Mountain Counselling within the Sea to Sky Corridor. My continued training and specialization is in Sexual Abuse, Narcissistic Abuse, General Anxiety and Couples Counselling.

What I bring is my inherent understanding that life is full of both challenges and triumphs. Having navigated my own life challenges, I have a genuine understanding that we all face hardships, but we don’t have to face them alone. My goal is to create an environment where clients feel heard, valued and empowered to explore a path towards transformation through growth.

My belief is that every individual has the strength to overcome adversity, it is an honour for me to walk beside you on your unique journey of healing and growth. Whether it’s working through past trauma, coping with current struggles, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, we will work together to process difficult emotions and experiences. A strong therapeutic relationship is foundational in my counselling approach, providing a safe, trusting, and collaborative space for meaningful change.

I use a client-centered approach, integrating trauma-informed modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused techniques tailored to each client’s specific goals.

You are unique, and so is your journey to healing.
