Understanding Your Health Benefits

At Coast Mountain Counselling, we are covered by a variety of health benefits providers, including Sunlife, Chamber of Commerce, Green Shield and many more.

Navigating your health benefits shouldn’t be a source of stress. If you're considering our services you can check your coverage. Our team are Registered Therapeutic Counsellors (RTC), accredited by the Association of Cooperative Therapeutic Counsellors (ACCT), and Registered Professional Counsellor Candidates (RPC-c), recognized by the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association (CPCA).

Steps to Confirm Your Coverage:

  1. Contact Your Benefits Provider: Reach out to your health benefits provider to inquire about your coverage for our counselling services.

  2. Initial Denials: If you receive an initial denial, don’t worry. We can assist you by providing a letter outlining the qualifications and services offered, which may support your case for reimbursement.

Payment is required within 24hrs of counselling session by e-transfer, or cash. The client is responsible for the filing of the insurance or EAP reimbursement.

Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel your appointment, please provide 24 hours’ notice, otherwise you will be charged a cancellation fee of $75
